How to source from Pakistan, step by step
Six steps from first search to a safe, well-documented order.
1. Search or post an RFQ
Know exactly what you want? Search products and filter by category, city and MOQ. Sourcing something specific or in volume? Post an RFQ and let suppliers come to you with competing quotes.
2. Shortlist by evidence, not promises
Prefer verified suppliers (document-checked NTN and licenses), read buyer reviews, check year established, factory size and production capacity on the company profile.
3. Talk specifics before price
Use the built-in chat to confirm specifications, tolerances, certifications, packaging and sample availability. A supplier who answers technical questions precisely is worth a premium.
4. Compare total cost
Compare quotations on landed cost: unit price + packaging + inland freight + shipping terms (FOB/CIF) + payment terms. The cheapest unit price is rarely the cheapest order.
5. Start small, then scale
Order samples or a trial quantity first. Document agreed specs in writing inside the platform chat so there's a shared record if anything is disputed.
6. Pay on documented terms
For new relationships prefer L/C or milestone-based T/T over full advance payment. Keep all payment references linked to your order records.
